Today at work I…
Got a call on my cell about a reference. Now, I usually don’t take calls while I’m actually on shift, but I didn’t recognize the number so I picked up. It was a Lady calling about a reference. I was immediately confused, because the reference request was regarding a job a friend of mine had already been hired for. Not wanting to have to try and pick another time to answer the questions, I said I would do it right then. In order to avoid getting into trouble for talking on my cell while at work, I hid in kids clothing in the back corner of the store and tried to hide my phone in my hand and under my wig. So there I am, crouching down under some very small pants dressed in full pirate costume, talking quietly into my hand. If anybody saw me, they were to scared to come close enough for me to notice!
