Today at work I…
- Was watching a little kid try to reach for a toy. Before I could get to him a toy electric guitar fell on his face. I rushed to help him as he started to cry, but when he saw me he turned off the tears. I think running at him may have scared them back inside his eyes.
- Saw an old man browsing through the men’s section. Near by, a young boy was trying on suit jackets that were far to big for him and trying to do up a tie. The old man was watched him for a bit, then walked over to offer the boy some help. After a moments hesitation and a glance at his mom, the boy accepted the help. The old man tied the tie, going slowly and explaining the steps. I almost cried.
