Sometimes, after a long day of adventuring, you need to sit down. After this long day, you may not be paying much attention to where you sit. I highly recommend paying attention to the spot you choose to park your butt, because you could end up sitting on something that just won’t be pleasant to sit on.
What could these unpleasant things be? For starters, lets choose mud wasps. These suckers like to build their nests in the damn ground, so they are really hard to see. I encountered one of these nests when I was younger. Those wasps get pretty pissed when you sit on them, let me tell you. And it is always surprising how many of them live in there.
Second on my list are reddish ants. I’m not sure what kind of ants they were, but I sat on a bunch of them, and even though they were really tiny, they bit hard and there was a lot of them. That and it wasn’t just the but. It was the venom that they pumped into my sorry ass. It burned like fire, and felt numbed like ice all at once. Very unpleasant.
So watch where you sit. That inviting patch of thick moss in the shade might contain a nasty surprise.
