I’m home for Christmas break, and enjoying the fact that I don’t have any projects or exams looming over my head. Totally stress free. But I feel the need to do something so I’ve been helping my dad drywall my room.
My parents just moved into a new house, and the basement is not finished. my ‘room’ is in the basement. When I got here on monday. noting was drywalled down there. It was just framed walls. So, in order to have somewhere to sleep, we decided that at least one room should be drywalled. At least then I could have some privacy for my planned ’sleepovers’.
Unfortunately for my dad, I’m not much of a drywaller. I miss the stud a lot, and sometimes I just mess up completely. Below is a picture of me messing up pretty bad. I’m not sure how I did it, but when I tried to put a screw in, I ended up with a big gouge in the drywall, and the screw stuck in the wall beside it… backwards.
