Saturday was another evening at the house of Choo, hanging out with the Choo himself and the always entertaining Andrew. Burgers and salad were on the menu for Supper, and I had brought a strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert. Good meal? I think so. What could make the meal better? Cheap beer that didn’t taste like crap!
I’ve always found that any beer just doesn’t taste as good after the first two. There is a way around this however. It’s called shanty, and it’s damn good. What is shanty? Well, its lemonade made from concentrate, with the role of water [mostly] played by beer. It makes for a fantastic drink which I personally find more refreshing than a third beer.
I highly recommend trying it if you are above the age of 19. Cheers!

An actual Shanty is Beer with Tomato Juice….. About 1/4 Tom juice and 3/4 DRAUGHT…. Some wimps actually use lager, but that is wimpy!
