MY scalp was starting to have problems with my dreads, and I had been told that when the scalp starts having problems, hair starts falling out. So I cut them off.
It was really sad and it hurt to do it, but I’m glad that I did it. Why? Because I was actually starting to go bald. I still can’t believe it.
After cutting them off and going to the hair dressers to neaten things out I saw the back of my head. I could see my god damn scalp. I almost cried right then. And its not natural baldness, a circular thining of hair at the crown. The thinning is round at the center, but then paths of thinned out hair kind of radiate outwards random, especially down the back of my head at a crazy angle. This is what makes me beleive the dreads were making me go bald, becuase the trails of thinned hair follow the areas of semi-exposed scalp that were around all the roots of my dreads.
I have to go for a job interview in a few hours. I can only hope that the guy hiring doesn’t see the back of my head. Fuck.
My only hope is that if I treat my scalp really well, the hair follicles will revive themselves and grow hair again. Please Please Please.

Dude…. do what I did…. Shave your head. It feels great and hey, you never wake up with bed head……
It took 10 years of my age too…. lol
