I wear a beard 90% of the year. I like it, and I think it suits my personality. Whenever I’m without it i don’t quite feel complete. So, you can imagine what I felt when I was told by a potential employer that I would not only have to lose the face jewlery, but that I would have to be clean cut as well!
Now, I know that I need to eat more than I need have a beard, but I havn’t explored all my options yet. So I will go to the interview for this place, and see what they can offer me, but as of right now, I really don’t think I can do it. I mean I beleive that a person is defined not by how they look, but by what they do…. but I really like my beard!
