A while back two friends of mine decided they were going to go and get something pierced. They asked me to join them. I said yes.
Why did I say yes? I’m still not entirely sure, but I said yes. So, on Tuesday, I went with them and my girlfriend to the place where such things happen, and I had a hollow needle rammed through my eyebrow, by a very nice man with a bar through the bridge of his nose.
I had to wait half an hour while Sarah and Paul were getting theirs done. I sat in the lobby. I don’t like needles, but because I give blood, I felt I could handle this. The waiting did not help; I turned paler by the minute.
When it was finally my turn, I sat in the chair and he cleaned me up, marked the entry and exit points and put the clamp on. I don’t think I’ve ever been so stressed. But I went through with it, and now I have this ring in my eyebrow. I’m told it looks good. That’s a plus at least.
All in all, the experience was a neat one, and it left me feeling kind of exhilarated. The eyebrow thing is the most rebellious thing I’ve ever done. (Laugh if you will at that)

Tap, you are a wild man… Piercing is a little much for me. The ear ring from 20 years ago is about as rebellious as I get.
